Support

How to get help with the Listener API, report a problem or disclose a security issue.

1 min read

Before you write#

Most problems are answered by the error itself. Every error has a code and a doc_url pointing at its entry in Errors, and the request log under Settings → Developers → Logs shows the last 14 days of calls with their status and request id.

Contact us#

Email tech@listener.com. Include:

  • The request_id (req_…) from the error body or the Request-Id header.
  • The method and path, and roughly when you made the call (with time zone).
  • What you expected and what happened. Never include API keys, access tokens or webhook secrets.

Community#

Join the Listener community on Slack to ask questions, share what you built and hear about changes early.

Product help#

For how the apps work (connecting platforms, building reports, managing a network), see the Listener Knowledge Base.

Service health#

GET https://api.listener.com/health returns the service status as JSON (status, version, firestore). There is no hosted status page yet.

Security#

If you find a vulnerability, email tech@listener.com with the details and steps to reproduce. Please give us a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it publicly. If you believe a key or token of yours has leaked, revoke it under Settings → Developers first.
